THE LANDLADY
Based on the story The Landlady by Roald Dahl, i think the Landlady want to kill Billy and make him as a taxidermy collection. Meanwhile it becomes clear to me that she most likely stuffed Mr Mulholland and Mr Temple . Besides, the Landlady acted secretive when mystery surrounding the boys’ names becomes more and more tantalizing. She also refused to directly answer any question about the two men and seems uninterested in helping Billy determine how he knows of her previous guests. Although she appears to be generous by offering him a very reasonable price for a room and breakfast, the plot twist reveal that she is a cruel woman. In addition, she acted weird when she makes several comments about the boy appearance. This is shown when she comparing Billy's teeth with Mr. Mulholland and talk about Mr Temple skin that is smooth and just like a baby’s. It also become strange when she describes Mr Temple using the past tense. At the end of the story, it becomes clear that the landlady has poisoned Billy.

LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER by ROALD DAHL
In my opinion, the tragic news that Patrick give Mary is he
want to divorce his pregnant wife. Furthermore, at the beginning of the story everything was not right when Patrick come
home, he act strange by breaking of their usual routine. Further convince that Patrick
leaving his wife is when he promise to support her financial and insist Mary
not make anything that might reflect badly on his position as a police. Her
first instinct when Patrick wanted to
divorce was not to believe what her husband told. This is shown when she decides
to act as if nothing has happened hoping that this will somehow cause her
problem to go away. Consequently, this situation impacts her emotionally that she
felt shock, sad and frustrated. Thus, she ends up by killing his husband with no
regret. Although she is not worried about her own life, she is worried about
the life of her unborn child, and so she carefully plans how to get away with

THE NECKLACE
'The Necklace'
Based on the story of 'The Necklace' my favourite character is Monsieur Loisel that is Mathild's husband. The reason I like his character the most is because he is a loving husband. He loves his wife so much because of that his trying his best to fulfill Mathild's demands and assauge her complaints. For an example, he gives his wife the four hundred francs that he had set aside for a gun so that she can buy a dress. Besides, he never complaints about his wife dissatisfaction and seems to do what he can to make her happy.
Moreover, Monsieur Loisel is a hardworking husband. He works hard in the evening and sometimes at night as well in order to make their life easier. Furthermore, seeking to protect his wife honor, he spends several early morning hours searching the streets for the lost necklace even though he must go to work that day.
In addition, i like his character because he is a gentleman person. Monsieur Loisel's depth of character and queit heroism emerge after his wife loses the necklace. He takes control of the situation, does what he can and thinks is right, and ends up losing everything by spending his ten years to pay the debt incured by a lost necklace. Yet he never complaints or blames his wife for their great loss.

PERSONAL READING LOG
Many people suffer from insomnia, which is sleep disorder where the sufferer has difficulty falling asleep. This condition can bring about many health problems. My suggestion for the sufferer is relax before you go to bed. A relaxation routine can help you prepare for sleep. There are several things you can try like do something calming such as listening to relaxing music, or having a bath. Alternatively, if you don't want to take a full bath at night, simply bathing your feet in hot water can help you relax and improve sleep.
Furthermore, regular exercise during daylight hours is one of the best ways to ensure a good night's sleep. Although daily exercise is key for a good night's sleep, performing it too late in the day may cause sleep problems.
In addition, long daytime naps may impair sleep quality. If you have trouble sleeping at night, stop napping. No matter how tempting it may be, an afternoon nap can make falling asleep at night even harder.

'The Elves and The Shoemaker'
Moral values that i can learn from the story of 'The Elves and The Shoemaker' is we must be thankful for all the help we received from others. They were grateful to the elves and wanted to thank them for all of their hard work. In return the shoemaker and his wife gave the elves the wonderful new clothes and shoes. In addition, the story also tell us not to give up when we are in difficulty. We must try hard to make things better. As in the story, the shoemaker did not give up when he had only one enough leather to make a last pair of shoes. Lastly, this story shows that good things come from working hard. The shoemaker and his wife worked hard, and they were rewarded by the elves coming to help them out in their shop.

RUMPELSTILTSKIN - ELC121
Character in the story that i symphatize was the Miller's daughter. There are many parts that makes me symphatize with her when i heard the story. One of the main reason that made her life in difficult was her father who had fooled many people including the king. Because of that she need to spin all of the straw in to gold or else she and her father will be kill. Hence, she need to give her precious things like her necklace and ring to the Rumpelstiltskin as a reward.
Part that made me sad and symphatized at her also when she had no other option then promising to give her first child to the Rumpelstiltskin after she becomes a queen. Her happiness after getting a baby was just for a while when the Rumpelstiltskin came and asked her to fulfill her promise. Lastly, after all that she had been through, she deserve a happy ending life.
